Thank you Albie for volunteering last night!! We really appreciate your work to help our Festival run smoothly!
Thank you to Mike for hosting and thank you to Stephanie for giving up a night to help out at the gate!
Directors – please fill out or email your Adjudicator Evaluation (Debe) and Site Evaluation (Mike). It takes just a few minutes, but it really helps us improve the quality of our Festivals.
Best of luck on the rest of the season!
I bought 4 LP Aspire castanets with a handle for our marching show. Two of them came undone – the leather strap came untied in the middle of our performance sometime on Saturday and we only recovered one of them.
Does anyone have a pair of castanets with a handle (or even hand-held) that I could borrow? The only other ones I have are mounted.
Thanks in advance!!
We still need 1-2 volunteers to help at the gate next Wednesday. This will get you out of a work assignment later on. Please let me know if you are interested!
We are a short week away from Marching Festival in Reed City. Please get your scripts/info to Mike. If you have a site-specific issue or question – please forward to Mike. If there is a rules/interpretation question – please forward to me so the Executive Board can review it.
Please spend some time in the next week or so reviewing the Yearbook, especially on timing and decorum issues. Remind your kids of behavior expectations, when it is appropriate to exit/enter the stands, concessions, etc. Since the grand stands are so close to the field and the metal can be loud, we want to refrain from movement at those inopportune moments!
I want to thank the directors for a very smooth year with registration/payments. Please be sure to fill out your adjudicator and site evaluations to help us improve our Festivals!! Your input is valued!
Don’t forget, sight-reading is only one piece – 5 minutes to learn drill and music. 🙂 Wouldn’t that be fun!!??!!
Everyone say a small prayer for the weather to hold. Looks like we may get wet this Saturday if you are going out to compete…
