Hello!
I teach some great classes at West Shore Community College that I think some of your students may love to take next semester!
Class begin on 1/11/2016 – 4/29/2016

Guitar One
MUS 115 41 – Thursdays 5:30 – 7:10 pm

(2 credit hours) A beginning guitar musicianship course designed to provide a student with introductory guitar skills including chords, basic strumming, fingerpicking, guitar tablature reading, and beginning performance skills.
All students will be expected to rehearse the techniques taught in class and be prepared to demonstrate the skills in class.  To be successful in this class, each student should be ready to spend 3-4 hours per week on their instrument.   Guitars available.

Introduction to Music Technology
MUS 103-41 – Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4:00 – 5:20 pm

(3 Credit Hours) An exciting class to introduce students to the wide variety of technology available for those interested in music creation for viable media including recordings, print, and video.  Students will learn skills in recording theory, music theory, keyboard skills, recording software, and video editing to create various recording projects including a comprehensive short movie.

Prerequisites:  None, except of love of music and the desire to learn.

Advanced Music Technology
MUS 104-41 – Tuesdays 5:30 -8:20 pm

(3 Credit Hours) This course is an advanced curriculum in music technology for sound recording and video production.  Students will design, construct, and demonstrate quality audio and video skills in various projects throughout the course. The students will also generate outlets for their work in various Internet sites including SoundCloud, Facebook, and Youtube.

Prerequisites:  Successful completion of MUS 103 or approval of instructor.
